Mini UHF Family
Mini UHF is a compact version of the UHF/PL-259 connector, approximately half the size of the standard UHF connector, designed for handheld radios and mobile antennas where space is limited. It maintains compatibility with UHF-band signal frequencies and is commonly used on handheld transceivers, mobile radio antennas, and compact base station equipment.

How many times can a Mini UHF connector be mated and unmated?
MINI UHF FEMALE connectors are rated for approximately 500 mating cycles. Exceeding this can cause wear on the contact surfaces, increasing insertion loss and VSWR. For applications with very frequent connects and disconnects, consider a connector rated for higher cycle counts.
What torque should I use to tighten a Mini UHF connector?
Use a torque wrench and follow the connector manufacturer's recommended torque specification. Hand-tight plus a quarter turn is a safe starting point for most push-on connectors.
